Appropriately, BIOSECUR
was born at the dawn of the 21st Century with the founding of BIOSECUR LAB, Inc. in Quebec. In 2000, the company began the search for an organic, non-toxic alternative to the chemicals that had long been used as preservatives and disinfectants in manufacturing.
In 2009 the company announced that it had developed the first Certified Organic ingredient for use as a broad-spectrum preservative with antimicrobial properties.
BIOSECUR is derived from Certified Organic citrus fruit, but never grapefruit. It is now used by a growing number of manufacturers of personal care products including cosmetics, oral care products and industrial cleaners.
As researchers at our partner laboratories and leading universities pursue new applications, and testing facilities and regulatory agencies around the world validate BIOSECUR's claims, we are busy developing partnerships with distributors and direct manufacturers.
